CH32V series are industrial-grade general-purpose microcontrollers designed based on QingKe 32-bit RISC V. The whole series of products into the hardware stack area, fast interrupt entry and other designs, compared to the standard greatly improved the interrupt response speed. CH32V203 is based on 32-bit RISC-V core design of industrial-grade enhanced low-power general-purpose microcontrollers, high-performance, in the product features support 144MHz main frequency zero-wait operation, equipped with V4B core, work and sleep power consumption significantly reduced year-on-year. CH32V203 series integrated dual USB interface, support USB Host and USB Device function, with 1 CAN interface (2.0B active), dual OPA, 4 groups of USART, dual I2C, 12-bit ADC, 10-way Touchkey and other rich peripheral resources. 

This evaluation board is applied to the development of the CH32V103 chip. The IDE uses the MounRiver compiler, with the option of using the on-board or independent WCH-Link for emulation and download, and provides reference examples and demonstrations of chip resource-related applications.

If you use one of these boards, keep in mind:

• The exact MCU on the board determines many things: clock speed, flash/RAM size, available peripherals. A board labelled simply “WCH Development Board” may have a less powerful / fewer-feature MCU.

• Documentation (schematics, pinouts) is sometimes limited or only in Chinese. It’s good to check the datasheet of the MCU used.

• Bootloader / debug tools: you might need a external programmer/debugger (WCH-Link or equivalent) if board doesn’t include or enable it.

• Power supply constraints: while many boards have onboard regulators, check that input voltage and current suit your application.
